Digestive process breaks the food down. This changes its Bhautic composition. This changed form is known as 'Vipaka'. It can further be classified into three categories,

The Bhautic composition is made up of 'Prithvi' and 'Jala'. The Dosas of Pitta and Vata decrease. Kapha increase.

There is Bhautic effect of 'Amla'. Pitta and Kapha are aggravated. On the other hand, Vata is pacified.

There is an increase in Vata and Pitta, whereas the effect on Kapha is negative. Its Bhautic character is 'Katu'.

These after tastes also affect a person's constitution
Promotes recreation of kapha, semen, easy and comfortable gas and helps the discharge of urine and faces, produces saliva.

Increases tissues, it produces bile, acid.
Causes gas, constipation, painful urine, reduces semen with difficult discharge.
